Scientific Paper of the Year Awards Announced by ACSM

Newswise — The American College of Sports Medicine® (ACSM) has announced the 2023 Article of the Year for each of its six highly acclaimed journals, including its latest publication, Exercise, sport and movement.

The annual Paper of the Year Award recognizes the demonstrated scientific and scholarly importance and impact of an article published within the preceding year. Selections for this award, now in its fifth year, were made by each journal’s editorial board after receiving nominations from associate editors.

“ACSM has a long-standing reputation for publishing top-tier scientific journals,” said Karyn Hamilton, Ph.D., chair of the FACSM Publications Committee. “This is a direct reflection of the quality of the submissions we receive, and we congratulate the author groups on winning this prestigious award.”

The selections for the article of the year 2023 for each of the journals are:
