Gypsy, 32, who once loved social media, decided to break away from apps. As previously reported, the Louisiana native posted a video to TikTok shortly after her release from prison.

Recently, she used the same platform to explain why she deactivated her Instagram page and created a new private account. However, as of Friday, it appears that her public TikTok page has also disappeared. Fans first noticed his removal on social media on March 10.

Why did Gypsy Rose delete her Instagram?

Simply put, Gypsy is not here to live a life of pomp or illusion.

“I do my best to live my authentic life and what is real to me, and what is not is social media” Rose explained. “Social media is literally a gateway to hell. It’s so crazy. I can’t even understand what social media is. I thought once I got out of prison I would go out and enjoy social media like anyone else, taking selfies and just acting like an idiot. These are the simple things in life, aren’t they?

Additionally, Gypsy Rose made it clear that this is a final decision. She has no plans to make her private Instagram account public in the future. She said her father’s advice contributed to her decision.

“He gave me some advice that I really feel like I need. And these tips were meant to show me that real life is something you can touch, something you can feel. » she says. “People you can really hug.”

Additionally, Rose pointed out how “public scrutiny” can be so cruel when she just wants to live a normal life.

“I created my private Instagram. And I had it checked, “ she added. “And I had no difficulty or doubt about removing this public information.”

Before deleting her public profile, Blanchard had around 7.8 million followers on Instagram. Many wondered how she was able to delete her account with such a high number. But Gypsy clarified that she doesn’t do that.give an ‘F’ on a subscriber.

She first became a household name after she and her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, plotted and ultimately murdered her mother in 2015.

Dee Dee, her mother, abused Gypsy Rose a lot throughout her childhood. She not only lied about her real age, but also claimed that Rose suffered from health problems that she did not have. Gypsy ultimately served eight years of a ten-year sentence.

Lifetime produced a movie about her life called “Love You To Death.” A follow-up documentary series will be released this year titled “The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard.”
