Perfect Weekend Weather – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports | Fort Lauderdale

A very nice weather pattern has settled into South Florida just in time for the weekend – quite a contrast from last weekend, when we dealt with record rainfall and severe storms. Friday to Saturday!

Expect periods of sun and clouds throughout our Saturday – specifically partly cloudy skies in the morning, then cloudier periods in the afternoon. The breeze will continue to ease, especially over our inland areas, while humidity will remain low. Predicted high temperatures are in the upper 70s and around 80F.

And at Easter, the forecast looks excellent! It will be mostly cool to start the day with most of Miami-Dade and Broward in the 60s and warmer in the Florida Keys in the 70s. Temperatures will then warm into the 80s for the afternoon under generally sunny skies.

This pleasant, dry weather will continue into early next week with partly cloudy skies, but temperatures and humidity will begin to increase as the high pressure that was near this weekend moves away and moves away to across the Atlantic Ocean.

This will allow temperatures to soar through midweek, with the heat peaking on Wednesday. Some locations could then reach 90F with a risk of showers and storms depending on when our next front occurs.

This front is expected to move through by Thursday, bringing high temperatures back to near average in the 80s for late next week.
